Services & RatesPet sit visits include all of the following services at no extra cost:
- Personal attention, playtime, and companionship
- Dog walk
- Administering medication
- Attending to mealtime
- Providing fresh water
- Keeping litter boxes fresh and clean
- Limited yard pooper scooping
- Watering plants
- Turning lights, TV, or radio on and off
- Bringing in mail and newspapers
- Closing or opening blinds or curtains
- Setting out garbage cans upon request
- Detailed notes reporting about each visit
Pet Sit Visits
$16.00 - 30 minutes for cats only or dogs with a doggie door
$ 5.00 - for each additional 15 minutes scheduled
$ 2.00 - rate increase for dogs without a dog door
A Pet's Best Friend™ does not charge per pet, but for the amount of time needed to care for your pets. The 30 minute visit is our general visit. The longer visits are offered for multiple pets or pets needing more care.
One visit per day minimum. "Every other day" visits not available.
Midday Dog Walks (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
$16.00 - 20 to 30 minute dog walk or visit
$14.00 each for 4 or more walks per week on a regular basis
Overnight Stays (limited availability) $65.00
The pet sitter will stay with your pets at home overnight for 11 to 12 hours.
Midday visits are an additional $16.00 fee
$10 each additional hour
Holiday Rates
(Includes Easter, “Spring Break”, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
25% rate increase for sits on a major holiday.
Payment required to place a reservation.

Cancellation Fees
$10.00 flat rate (less than 24 hour notice prior to first scheduled pet sit)
50% of cost of reserved pet sits
(Less than 1 week before sits scheduled during a major holiday; Easter, “Spring Break”, Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
