Mission
Providing organized, professional, and passionate dog training for pet families using my training, intuition, empathy, and sensitivity with animals to bridge the communication gap between owner and pet.
Philosophy
I use positive reinforcement training. This is a rewards based system that boosts the dog's maturity and self esteem through positive responses to positive action and uses tools like a clicker. There are no potentially harmful things like jerking, hitting, kicking, or shaking. I feel this is the best way to not only teach the dog tasks, but also improve your relationship with her/him. Rewards could be treats, positive attention, play, access to other areas, or any thing the dog enjoys.
Background
Dog training became my calling after realizing how many animals were euthanized each year in shelters; many because their owners couldn't deal with problem behavior. Behavior which often could have been fixed with the proper guidance from a professional. As a graduate of Animal Behavior College, I'm thoroughly educated in using a variety of different training methods to solve numerous pet behavior problems and teach new tricks and tasks. All of which is to better improve the relationship of the owner with their dog. Every one can have a happy family that includes pets; with a little practice!
I continue my education through lectures, seminars, reading, and working with a variety of different animals. Currently my home includes 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses, and a husband. Having pets enriches my life and I'd like to help you to feel the same way.
