If your pet is on medication, I’m experienced in giving oral medication, sub q fluids, IV administration and applying topical creams & ointments. Also, diabetics that are controlled, I am experienced in giving insulin injections. My own dog is diabetic, she is a Minature Pincher (picture on top). Your pet will be more comfortable in their own home and not subjected to common health concerns. This is beneficial for the senior pet, and those who do not do well in a cage. Also for those who are puppies to reduce risk of contagious illnesses. They’ll have their own bed, toys, yard, no travel trauma or unfamiliar sights or sounds. Also your home will be cared for and look lived in. I have many excellent references and many clients that are willing to speak to you, upon request. I’m available 7 days a week, including most holidays. If nobody answers the phone, please leave a message including your name, phone number, what city you live in, how many pets you have, and when will you be leaving. I will return your call as soon as possible. I’ll come to your home to meet you and the family pets the day of consultation. I need to learn as much as possible about them and their habits. The day of consultation we’ll go over some important paper work and payment method. My main concern is caring for your pets and their well being so your time away will be stress free and relaxing. Your pets will be treated and cared for as if they were my own.
I currently work at an animal hospital with a wonderful staff, where your pet will be well taken to and cared for in case of illnesses or injuries.If you would like your own vet to be contacted this can be arranged unless unable to by the office itself. Your pets well being is more important to me than who sees him.
Overnight boarding at my house: Please call for details. Only small (under 20 lbs), quiet, friendly,good with children and other dogs, and potty trained dogs are allowed to board at my house. I have listed some benefits to home pet sitting vs. boarding facilities below.
