ABOUT MEHi there! I'm glad you're here to learn a little bit about me and how I got where I'm at today. Even from an early age, I have always been passionate about animals ( both wild and tame), and that's not about to change. I left Dublin after receiving my Associates degree in pre-nursing to go to GC&SU here in Milledgeville. I decided not to continue into the nursing program, and instead I changed my major to Sociology. After I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology, I soon married. My husband and I have two children now, ages 9 and 3, some fish, a turtle, 5 dogs, and lots of wildlife in the yard. I chose to stay at home and spend quality time with my children before they headed off to school. My oldest is in fourth grade now at John Milledge Academy. While being at home and having flexible hours, I enrolled with an online career center to earn a Veterinary Assistant diploma. I completed the two-year curriculum in a year's time. Even through the many years of pet sitting friends' and family's pets, there was still the growing desire to be around more animals, and I thought what better way to endulge myself than to pet sit. So, in June of 2006, I made it official as a professional pet sitter. In addition to pet sitting and mommy duty, I am also the Cub Scout Leader for the Webelos of Pack 316. I find it's a great way to be even more close to nature while learning. I am very committed and qualified at what I do, and you should expect nothing but the best. As an added measure of security to you and me, I am insured with Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.
Animals are my passion, and I love what I do. I would like to thank you in advance for allowing me into your home and into your pets' lives. I treat all pets as if they were my own- and they can't get much more spoiled than that! Just ask my husband.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Walden
