I have been working with animals since childhood. I am a current member of Pet Sitters International and am fully insured, bonded and certified in pet CPR.
My pet sitting services are available for animals of all kinds. I have volunteered at Lindsay Wildlife Hospital for several years, gaining experience in pet health as well as working with wild animals.
I am prepared for emergencies with plans of action, trained in Pet CPR and Pet First Aid, and always carry current full Liability Insurance. The obedience system I use is the Positive Rewards System recommended by professional trainers.
For dog walking, I absolutely guarantee I never walk more than five dogs at a time. This allows me to: give individual attention to your dog, protect and leash him/her should an off-leash aggressive dog or a horse surprise us on the trail, and spend zero percent of your paid "walk time" picking up and dropping off other dogs while your dogs waits in a hot car! I welcome you to observe and accompany me on any walk any day you have the time and can join me.
My philosophy regarding our relationship with animals, is that though our pets are dependent upon us for food and shelter, we are their "caretakers" not "owners". Animals have their own miraculous abilities, and we have ours. We are simply different aspects of nature. The fact that one depends on the other does not make one superior to the other.
