Tail Blazers
Services and Rates
Your dog will be picked up from your home at a time that works best considering your schedule away. A typical outing consists of:
- A walk around the neighbourhood and/or to Trinity Bellwoods Park
- 30 or 60 minutes (or more!) of leash walking or park playtime,
depending on your dog's needs
- Dogs are carefully supervised at all times, and never walked
off-leash on the sidewalk
- Dogs are encouraged to play with each other, rather than becoming ball-focused
- Basic obedience is positively reinforced
- Dogs are dropped off at home, tired and happy!
- All dog walkers are certified in Pet First Aid and are bonded & insured

After reviewing our basic requirements (below), please call or e-mail us to arrange a preliminary visit at your home. To help us determine whether or not your dog will be a good fit for the Tail Blazers playgroups, you may fill out the New Client Application Form and email us your answers.
You will need the following prior to our meeting:
- Tail Blazers Information Sheet outlining your dog’s history and personality, fully completed and signed
- A set of keys to your home (for condos, a mailbox system is acceptable, but signing the key in/out from the concierge is not, due to time constraints)
- Proof of rabies vaccination (tags) and a City of Toronto license
- A non-extendible leash and sturdy, well-fitting collar, preferably martingale-style

We specialize in small groups to promote safety and individual attention. For this reason, the maximum number of dogs in a group is usually 4, with a maximum of 5. Dogs are grouped together based on energy level, personality, length of outing, and the size of the dogs.

Sometimes a dog cannot be walked off-leash in the park with a group of other dogs. Some reasons may include age, injury, size, lack of obedience training, or bad/dangerous habits (such as swallowing foreign objects) that require individual attention. For these special cases we (subject to availability) are often able to provide private or semi-private on-leash neighbourhood walks. These walks usually include 1 to 3 dogs, and last from 30 to 45 minutes. Scheduling of these walks will vary, so some flexibility is necessary.top

We also do Puppy Visits and Kitty Visits. Doggy Daycare is coming soon! Please click on the following links to see more information on these services
