Our basic services cover feeding, grooming, and blanketing/un-blanketing (in season), as well as a brief head-to-toe check for any major visible health issues. If your horse needs to be brought to or from pasture we can take care of that too, or arrange for a short arena or round pen turnout to "get the kinks out".
We also offer stall cleaning, handwalking, longeing, bathing, tack cleaning, and errand services. Please contact us for an individualized quote.
**At this time we are unable to offer any riding, trailering, or clipping services. If demand exists we may add these in the future.
I can care for your poultry, goats, sheep, or other livestock too - call me for specific discussion of your animal's needs.
Examples include feeding and watering, stall, run, or cage cleaning, egg collecting, bottle feeding of young animals, milking (preferably goats, I haven't milked a cow in about 14 years!), grooming, bathing, or anything else you can think of for me to do.
I'm also happy to be an extra "body" if you need help with projects or during reproductive season.
While I don't emphasize pets, because Santa Barbara is blessed with SO many excellent housepet sitters, I do take care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, and caged pets. In my lifetime I've cared for nearly every kind of animal with the exception of some reptiles. Housepet services will always include feeding/watering, routine check-over for any health issues, playtime/snuggle time as appropriate, and exercise as appropriate/as requested.
Rates vary based on number of animals and services needed. Please contact me for a quote based on your situation.
While I do not currently have a formal discount program, my rates will be discounted if I can service more than one client per visit (i.e. three horses at one barn).
I am also always willing to negotiate fixed rates for ongoing services (i.e a daily visit that continues for several months).
My goal is to provide superior quality, affordable services for your animals so that you have more time to simply love them.
