Struttin' Mutts

Hi I’m Katie Simmons, owner and operator of Struttin’ Mutts.

I started this company out of a deep love for animals and the desire to build a career around interacting with them.

For years, I not only cared for my own pets, but also took care of friends and family’s pets on a regular basis. I decided in 2005 to leave my project manager position and work with animals full-time. I was always hesitant to leave my animals in the care of others, wondering if they were going to get the care and love that they are accustom to, so with that in mind, I started Struttin’ Mutts and committed to treat every animal as if they were my own.

I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and always expanding my knowledge of working with and caring for dogs and cats. I am also an avid supporter/member of various animal groups in the county and across the United States. For a list of Struttin Mutts services, please click here.
