My name is Elizabeth. I'm an experienced veterinary technician that can handle a variety of animals. I graduated with my B.S. in Biology and have been persuing veterinary science and animal rescue since 2004. I have my own 'little gang' that I hate to leave so I know what it's like to search for someone who is responsible and that cares.
Why I Pet Sit
I've seen many animals come into an animal hospital happy and ready to board. Once they get put in the cage they are going to be in for a week their happiness turns to fear and anxiety. Their reactions to the environment were often negative. Normally, they would bark incessantly until they lost their 'voices'. They would not eat or drink due to the stress they were under. Many of the animals aren't used to these conditions and become dehydrated, depressed and actually loose weight.
After seeing the many animals come into the hospital to board and leave miserable and depressed. I started my own business. Where, hopefully, I can help alleviate the stress of both you and your pet!!

I am dedicated to the services I provide and truely care about animal welfare. I believe in individualized care where your pet is the center of my attention. For example. I don't do pack walks because I believe your animal is entitled to the time and attention it deserves. If one person is walking 3 dogs, your dog gets less time than it is entitled to. I'm able to safely handle elderly animals, animals with a variety of medical conditions, exotics, and 'difficult' dogs.
I am also a member of NAPPs (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters). These keeps me abreast of current issues and news that pet sitters encounter. I try to implement as many recommendations as possible to better care for your pet.
