I am Donna Patterson, owner of Petz Sitter for Madison County.  I have lived in Madison since 1983 along with my husband Mike. We are owned by three boxer dogs and three cats.  Our lives have been surrounded by the love and devotion of pets during our entire marriage.  After many years in sales, I decided to pursue my dream of having a pet related business of my own.  After working very hard creating a dog web site called Maximus Dog Products, Inc., I also researched pet sitting. Since I did not have an option other than boarding for my terminally ill boxer, my goal was to give other pet owners a professional in-home service they could trust for their pets.   I studied for my certification, joined associations for professional pet sitters and started putting the best concierge service of pet sitting. 

Petz Sitter is a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) where a certification was achieved to upgrade skills in animal behavior and health.   To help further my education, I have completed the American Red Cross Pet First Aid course.  Member of both Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS), Pet Sitters International and recently accepted as a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. 

I am owner and creator of Maximus Dog Products, Inc., a web site boutique of dog products along with all kinds of dog lover gifts.  I volunteer for Rockin P Rescue organization based in Jacksonville, AL, in doing home visits for those people wishing to adopt within Madison County.  To further education on the boxer breed, I designed Boxer-Dog-Information in hopes to help people to research the breed before owning.  In 2006, I organized Madison County Boxer Meetup Group, a boxer dog breed club.  We currently have over 100 members and meet each month to socialize both the owners and the dogs.
