Policy & ProceduresPayment
Payment is due on the date of booking, or during the first visit. We accept check, cash, Mastercard and Visa. Please leave tips in cash, or you can mail the company with tips.
Cancellations
Please remember that this is a service business, and we can only book what time allows for. Please schedule all cancellations for vacation pet sitting at least 2 weeks in advanced. You will receive a full refund if cancelled 2 weeks before scheduled dates. If after the dates, you will receive a 90% credit to your account for future dates.
Holidays
The following days are considered holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independance Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Christmas Eve. All reservations during the holidays must be paid in full at the time of booking. Holiday surcharge is an additional fee of $5 per visit.
Visiting Hours
Morning visits are between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Afternoon visits are between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Evening visits are between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Visits before 8 a.m. add $5.00 surcharge and visits after 8 p.m. add $5.00 surcharge .
Special requests are welcome and we will try to accommodate your special needs. These requests are priced on a quoted basis.
Basic home care services are provided while you're gone, such as bringing in newspapers, mail, watering plants, alternating lights, adjusting blinds and setting out or taking in trash cans.
Same day service requests
All walk or sit services booked the same day as service need to be received within 4 hours notice to be placed on the schedule and are subject to an additional surcharge of $5 per visit. We cannot guarantee pet sitters availability for same day services. Please attempt to book in advance. We do try to accommodate all same day requests, however due to scheduling it cannot be guaranteed.
Overnight visits
We do offer overnight visits, this includes a morning visit at 7 a.m. and an evening visit at 7 p.m. We do have late night run jobs and sometime may need to leave between 8 -11 p.m. to care for other pets. Please try to schedule overnight visits in advance as spaces are limited.
Dog Walking
Work in the city, have a long shift at work? We offer mid-day dog walks between the hours of 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The walk is between 15 -20 minutes. THIS IS AN ACTUAL WALK. Pets get bored when left at home all day while you are at work. This mid-day walk is perfect for the lonely, or high energy pet. Your pet will thank you each day when you arrive home.
Keys
We require 2 keys. This is to ensure that if one key doesn’t work we always have a back up key. We keep one key in the office in case of an emergency just in case another sitter has to make the visit there is a key available.
Veterinarian appointments and emergencies
All pets must have an authorization form, on file, to receive medical care if deemed necessary. All clients will be held responsible for all charges incurred during the visit. As well as the transportation cost to and from the appointment.
