Hooves, Wags N' Whiskers About us Hello!  My name is Joan Walsh and I am the owner of Hooves, Wags 'N Whiskers.  I wanted to tell you a bit about my pet care-taking history.  I have been working with animals for over 12 years!  I began taking horseback riding lessons when I was just four years of age and I have owned my own horses.  I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1999 and obtained a job as a receptionist at a local veterinary clinic.  I eventually worked my way up to a veterinary technician position, which I absolutely loved.  When I wasn't working, I did a lot of pet sitting on the side.  Our animal hospital has boarding facilities, but we were often booked.  In the summer of 2008 I moved to Kernersville, NC with my dogs, my husband and my two little boys.      Hooves, Wags 'N Whiskers is devoted to caring for your pets in the comfort of their own home to alleviate stress on both you and your pet.  We work with all sorts of pets, large and small, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, small animals and horses!  We have very competitive rates and are ready to help care for your loved one.
