Travel ("Excess Travel Time") Each service fee noted below for in-your-home pet care includes the cost of up to 30 minutes of travel time (round-trip). Travel: $.22 cents for each minute over 30 (round-trip) For more information about the excess travel fee, including how we control our customer's costs with predetermined "caps," please see FAQ # 2.

Meet-And-Greet & Checklist Development Meet-And-Greet:  $20 for 30 minutes + travel Checklist Development:  FREE (The Meet-And-Greet typically lasts 30-60 minutes. Please refer to How To Get Started for more information.)

Dog Walking 90 minutes: $37.50 + travel 60 minutes: $28 + travel 45 minutes: $24 + travel 30 minutes: $20 + travel (Please refer to the Dog Walking Web page for more information.)

Pet Sitting Pet Sitting in Your Home (Per Visit Fee): 60 minute visit: $28 + travel 45 minute visit: $24 + travel 30 minute visit: $20 + travel 15 minute visit: $15 + travel Overnight: $65 + travel (See FAQ #4) Pet Sitting in The Langley Home: Boarding (small caged animals): $/night (Please see Pet Sitting for a description of what is included with each pet sitting option.)

Pet Taxi $20 for up-to 30 minutes one-way

Key Pick-Up or Return $15 + travel

Discounts The Placid Pet will honor all published offers found in the original Placid Pet brochure, WHS and AHS coupons for new adoptive families, and advertisements that have appeared in local publications including  The Bellingham Herald, Entertainment News NW, and Whatcom County Magazine.  In order to receive the published discount, new and existing clients must provide an original copy of the advertisement, brochure or coupon describing the discount/offer.

Payment Options Clients may pay by credit card, check or cash. Payment is not expected until service is complete. Regular dog walking clients are invoiced monthly. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
