I was born on a horse farm in Mt. Kisco, NY. My parents owned Black Knight Farms, a horse ranch for training hunters and jumpers. While I was growing up, my family raised Australian Shepherds starting my fascination with dogs. We had other types of animals in the house -- cats, birds, rabbits, fish, a raccoon and strangely enough, even a llama. Our house was always filled with surprises!
My love for animals has driven me to study about every type of breed of dog and to have a thorough understanding of their differences. It gave me the desire to be in the pet care industry. Having a job to bring in a paycheck no longer appealed to me. What did interest me was being happy! I decided to take my people skills, business background and my love for animals and started PUPPERSNUPS! Being around animals on a daily basis brings me more joy than I can explain. Because they are so unconditionally loving and always greet me with a big sloppy kiss, I feel I have the greatest job in the world now! I am one of those lucky people that gets to wake up each morning eager to go to work. I get to help people in their daily lives by reducing their stress about the care and welfare of their beloved pets.

In this crazy, stressed-out world we live in, it's imperative that we all take a break once in awhile. But...sometimes we say no to vacations or even lose opportunities to see family and friends that live far away because we don't want to leave our pets. Believe me, I can relate....I didn't even go on a honeymoon --afraid to leave my dog for more than a day in someone else's care. I am very compassionate to your feelings regarding this. I know how hard it can be to trust someone to be capable enough to care for your pets and home way that you do. Because my family, friends and co-workers have witnessed my total affection for animals and my responsible nature, they have asked me at one time or another, if I would watch their pets and home while they were away. I always said yes; and, in the end, it always gave me great pleasure to see my friends' smiling faces when they returned home. It also gave them relief to know that their pets, home and plants were exactly they way they left them. Because I enjoyed helping so much, I decided to do it full time.
