Where i was born

I am the sole owner and operator of Animal House Pet Sitters and my name is Glenda Moyer. I was born in upstate New York in 1976 in a small country town known as Cooperstown . Yes, also known as the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Besides the nurmerous retail stores that line the streets that sell baseball cards of the famous  players and other memorabilia the area is also abundant in dairy farms, rolling fields and country roads. Not a bad place to spend my childhood. Our family, as well as other family members had their own large dairy farms so us kids always were around animals large and small.  There were so many little barn kittens running around that i always had plenty to keep me entertained.  If we had stayed in the area i would have followed my dream of becoming a veterinarian, but once we moved down here to Georgia i found myself on a different path.  Recently i returned to my love of animals and the care i can offer them. I have now found my true passion.

College Years

During college i became a nanny for a loving little girl and boy, Sydney and Jacob.  I worked for them for 3 years until the kids went off to school and it was time for me to move on but even still to this day i am close to the kids and their parents.  While getting my degree in culinary arts i also worked part time in a local pet shop as well as walking neighbor dogs for extra money. Thats were my love for the 4-legged friend was born. We have two beautiful and very spoiled dogs Bailey and Storm who's favorite pass time is wrestling with each other and cuddling up to us for a rub down.

Plans for the future

I am currently  working on a pet apparel and accessories line which will also offer gourmet pet treats and homemade pet shampoos. These products will be offered on this website for the holidays. In the near future i will be working on my most exciting plan to open a doggie daycare and boarding house that will focus on the most pampered pups. My love of animals has brought me here today because of this gift i am in a place were i can make both the owners and their pets, happy little critters!!!
