    About us

My name is Heidi Hertenstein and after many years in medical research I am now retired and can devote my time to what I love best: animals. The  more I meet, the better I like them. I have always had pets of my own and fretted over their care when I was away, in fact I still do. You will be able to communicate with me by phone or email anytime to find out how your friend is doing.

Above you see, resting after a bath, on the left six year old Sophie who came to me as a tiny puppy from the Seattle Animal Control shelter where she was born to a Dachshund Mom; Dad was quite obviously a Pomeranian.  She is every inch the princess and knows it.
On the right is Louie, a perfect Pomeranian gentleman. He has excellent manners and an all encompassing appetite. Because he also has very expressive eyes he is a most successful beggar for food. His job is that of Goodwill Ambassador to the world; he has carried it out for seven and one half year.
The picture of the beautiful cat is in memoriam of Poki who was 16 years old when he left us. He is very much missed.
On  the 'Contact Us' page you will also see my friend Max. He walked into our lives one day and was with us for far too short a time. But we had fifteen happy months together.

Please contact me with any questions you may have concerning your pet or what I can do for you.
