Even better, we have the experience, flexibility and dynamic resources to address your pet's specific needs so you are free to focus on those "other" demands in your life.
Training dogs is ultimately about helping you, the owner. Whether you are in dire straits over your dog's behavior, just want a tune-up, want to do a fun activity with your dog or would like more for your dog while you're out during the day, Premier Canine Care can help you.
Most dogs want to make their owners happy and do what is asked, but they don't always know what we want. We can help with that.
Training should (and can) be both enjoyable and effective for you and your dog. We use positive tools (i.e. food rewards, and clickers) to help your dog succeed, rather than fault him/her for failing through negative consequences. Our programs strive to build confidence and increase communication between you and your pet.
At the current time we are not accepting any aggression cases, but will gladly refer you to another professional.
What we do offer is a multitude of services including:
- Behavior Guidance & Training using humane Positive Reinforcement Techniques
- Some general issues clients may call us about are house soiling, jumping, excessive licking, barking, leash pulling, separation anxiety, and destructive behavior such as chewing.
- Obedience Options such as Doggy Day Camp, Board & Train (lovingly limited to 1 dog in our private home) and In-Your-home Lessons
- Agility Training with an accomplished and experienced Agility Competitor & Agility Judge
- Physical Activities such as Dog Walking and/or play on our private fenced acreage
- Pet Sitting for the traveling owner (in your home or 1 pet in ours)
- Pet Taxi Service to the vet or groomer, for our regular clients
- Phone/email consultations for those clients that live out of the area.
