Yvette's Small Pet Care I'd like to introduce myself to you. I am a responsible, experienced, mature woman who lives on the East Side of New York City. I've been a Professional Pet Sitter for 15 years. I grew up in the country surrounded by cats, dogs, and hamsters. I love all animals, and will take wonderful care of your pets in your home with daily or twice daily visits. I am NOT a service. It's important for me as a pet sitter to establish a trusting relationship with my client and my client's pets. It's very important to know a pet's habits, to know what's normal behavior and what's not normal. This is not possible with most services with their changing roster of part time pet sitters. I've taken many of my client's pets to their vets when they are away, because I know when they are out of sorts and not feeling well. I take care of cats, dogs (I walk dogs too), fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, pot bellied pigs, ALL reptiles, any small pet really. I love them all. Plants and mail too.  However, I don't board any animals. Most of my clients come to me through recommendations from vets, pet stores, friends of clients and my website. I am a cat mom to Mason, all 24 pounds of him! I was a cat mom to Bennett and Winston, two brothers I adopted in 1991 from my vet, The Center For Veterinary Care. Their pictures are on my website in the photo section. Sadly, my best boys are gone. Bennett died of liver cancer in 2004, and Winston, my 20 year old guy, left me in November, 2011. They will remain on my web site because they will  always be part of me, and I will love them forever. I spend a lot of time with my client's pets and often give my clients daily email updates. My clients enjoy peace of mind and don't worry when they are away at work, on a business trip or on vacation, because they know that their pets are well taken care of.
