Paws are Made for Walking offers a multitude of services for a variety of pets. We can also handle various home services which, by making it appear that your house is occupied, can be a crime deterrent. Choose the schedule and services you want, and we'll do the rest.

Paws are made for walking is owned and operated by Jackie Hanley. Jackie has experience both professionally and personally caring for a wide variety of animals. She has a special interest in timid or aggressive pets that other sitters have turned away. She currently owns a cat, and several fish.
For the past several years, Jackie has worked to obtain certification in Accounting through UOP, as well as Pet Sitter Certification through the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. She is also an avid reader of many pet journals, books, web sites and messages boards. In addition, have access to a variety of resources for finding answers to all your pet concerns.
Holidays
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day; Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Book these dates in advance, these days book really fast.

It can be hard leaving your pet for the day-never mind the week. For longer vacations, well stop by for a half hour every day to check on your furry friend. If you have any special requests for exercise or medication, no worries. Well take care of it all. And well leave you a daily report to let you know how the visit went, too. We can also pick up your mail, water your plants and do other small errands to make sure your first day back home is stress free.
If you're just looking for a daily dog walker, you can count on us for that as well. We can stop by as many times a day as you need. Each walk is guaranteed to be 30 minutes long, so you know your pup is getting their exercise!

Dog Park Adventure

$35.00* (1 hour) or $45.00* ( 2 hours) includes pick up and drop back off at home.
Cat Services
$12.00 (includes litter change, pet feeding, water, and playing)
Exotic Animals
$8.00 - $12.00 depending on the breed and the extent of the care.
This includes:

Holiday Fees
There will be a $15.00 charge per day for holidays on top of your regular dog walking charge.
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees will be determined by sitter availability. You will be told in advance if there will be a $25-$60 cancellation fee. Cancellation must be at least 24 hours in advance.
Payment
Payments are due at the end of each month, or the beginning of each service you have requested.
Return Check Fees
There is a $35.00 return check fee on all checks
