When I retired from a large communications corporation (after 31 years) a few years back, my friend Sandi (who had been at the same company with me for 29 years) also retired. She went traveling around the country with her husband, two dogs, and a motorhome. I opened a pet sitting business. At first business was steady and easily maintained by one person. But as the years went by it had increased to the point of no days off for two entire years. No weekends off, no holidays off, no weekdays off. I knew I would not be able to keep that up for too long! Pet Sitting was a very rewarding career but I could see burnout around the corner. When Sandi returned last year to Tampa I asked her to work with me as a partner and she agreed. She is now on board. Her name is Sandi Reynolds. She lives with her husband, Dale, a Golden Retriever named McGyver, and a Lhasa Apso named Scooter.
