Hello everyone! I am a University of Rochester graduate and the founder of Kat’s Canine Care. We are a professional, family owned company that offers a variety of pet services to accommodate you and your four-legged friends’ needs. I opened this business more than three years ago and have strived for complete client satisfaction. One of my mantras is that I do not believe in charging extra fees for services that a friend would be happy to do. I do everything from pet sitting (ranging from thirty minutes to days at a time) to dog walking, puppy play dates and cat sitting. During in-home pet sitting, animals are never left alone, like many doggie daycares do. I can also help with simple obedience and manners training with your pup. I have experience watching all kinds of pets, whether they have fur or scales.
Most veterinarians would agree that pets are more comfortable in their own homes, rather than in a boarding facility. This eliminates the stress of being in a strange place, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and noises.
My rates are extremely affordable and your pets will get the love and care they deserve. If need be I can accommodate almost anyone’s schedule. I realize how difficult it is to balance a work and family life. I am respectful and trustworthy and of course always keep your personal information strictly confidential, under lock and key!
Please call for a meet-and-greet and receive a free gift! I am dedicated to giving the best service out there. I travel to anywhere in the city of Rochester (Park Ave, South Wedge, Cornhill, Monroe, Art Walk, etc.) and the East Side (Brighton, Penfield, Fairport, etc.).
Rates include travel time, gas, mileage, wear and tear on the vehicle, and the time it takes to travel home so there will be no added “surprises!”
Overnights are anywhere from 45 - 58 $
Walks - Half Hour: 13 - 19$
Walks - One Hour: 15 - 22$
**(Prices vary due to the distance traveled; therefore the higher prices are reserved for client's who live furthest from my home. Darn these gas prices!)
Own more than one dog? Don't fret because I don't charge extra to walk two dogs at the same time!
Visits - Half Hour: 12 - 17 $
Visits - One Hour: 14 - 19$
Vet Visits: 15 - 40$ (Depending on time spent there and distance)
"Doggie Heaven Park Day's": 25 - 40$ This consists of picking up and dropping off your pup and bringing him or her to Ellison ( or your choice of park ) for at LEAST two and a half hours of consistent fun, exercise and positive doggie interactions!
Need something other than a walk or a visit? Let me know and I will do what I can to help!
Please know that visits include taking in the mail, watering the plants, vacuuming, cleaning the litterbox and other light house chores - ask my competitors to do the same and they won't. Have a kitty or a doggie who needs medication? Let me do the dirty work for free so they can resent me and not you ;) Some prices are negotiable. Unfortunately, if you live more than five-ten miles from my house (Park Ave area), a minimal gas charge will be applied. (Darn gas prices!)
** Don't forget extra discounts do apply to Seniors and others on a fixed income due to health problems - know that I always work on a price that makes everyone comfortable and happy.
