I have been a successful stay-at-home mom and then successful again in the corporate world.  Recently, I made some significant changes in my life.  One of those changes was to start my pet sitting business.  I considered it for several months.  All of a sudden, one day I realized that my entire life has always

included pets…cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, horses, gerbils, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, turtles, a snake, rabbits, an abondoned baby squirrel, and a monkey for ONE day…..and quite a few of each at the same time!!!  As a child, my father taught me to be kind to anything that breathed…he wouldn’t even let me collect butterflies or fireflies.  “They need to fly free and be happy”, he always said.  I always took my children to pet museums and zoos and to feed the ducks.  After Katrina, I helped my grandchildren sell lemonade to help the homeless animals from the hurricane.  I guess I can say that I discovered a great love that I always had and basically had just taken for granted.  The fact is, animals bring me great PEACE and JOY and I TRULY ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH THEM!

Please call me to come and take care of your pets while you are not there…whether you are out-of-town for business or pleasure, planned or unexpected, or just want your pets to get some love, attention and exercise during the long busy work day.  Can you imagine sitting at home all day alone IN or OUT of a kennel without a break or two?  A pet that receives good love and attention will give it back a million times over. 

Nana's Pet Sitting is fully insured and bonded and all of our sitters are expertly trained.  I am a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), the most respected  association of pet sitters @ www.petsit.com,, as well as many other pet-related organizations.  I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross @ www.redcrosshelps.org.  Nana’s Pet Sitting is a member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.  Currently, I am enrolled in a pet certification course through PSI, which will be completed very soon.
