Secure Home Solutions Pet Care is owned and operated by Cindy and Anthony Campione. The corporate name is ACI Tampa, Inc. Secure Home Solutions is a dba of ACI Tampa, Inc. We are licensed, insured and bonded. We are full members of, and proudly follow and exceed the standards of excellence set forth by Pet Sitters International.
Cindy has been petsitting since the early 1980's. After receiving her bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi, Cindy returned to Ole Miss to become a registered nurse. Unfortunately, Cindy's mom became ill with Cancer, which was terminal. Her illness and subsquent passing prevented Cindy from completing the last semester of nursing school.
However, Cindy was able to use the skills learned in almost two years of nursing school as a volunteer for her local Humane Society, assisting the veterinary surgeons in performing spay/neuter surgeries and other needed procedures to animals brought to the shelter. Cindy completed the Certified Veterinary Technician program, as well. Impressed with her knowledge and the care she showed, the veterinarians began asking Cindy to pet sit for their own animals when they traveled. Soon, they were referring her to their friends and clients as well. Thus, a business was born!
Cindy holds masters degrees in nonprofit organization management and community services development, is a (former) Certified Veterinary Technician, and is a certified Pet Care/Pet First Aid/CPR trainer/instuctor for Pet Tech, Inc. and the American Red Cross.
Anthony Campione is a retired deputy sheriff investigator from upstate New York. Anthony holds degrees in both Criminal Justice and Technology from Syracuse University. After moving to Tampa, Anthony opened and managed a full service private investigative and security consulting agency. His twenty-plus years of law enforcement, corrections, crime prevention and security education give Secure Home Solutions Pet Care a solid back-up for any issues of security or concern that may arise when a client is out of town. Anthony is also a certified trainer/instructor for Pet Tech, Inc. and the American Red Cross.
Anthony and Cindy are love to cook, enjoy music (playing and singing), snorkeling, taking Jack to the dog parks, and watching all the "cop shows" on TV. They are parishioners at Christ the King Catholic Church. They live in the Westshore area of South Tampa with "Black Jack the Buccaneer Pirate", a Shepherd/Lab mix who was found wandering in one of our client's neighborhoods. The client called on Anthony to help her find the owner of this then six month old doggie. Wearing a collar but no tag, not microchipped, but scared, hungry and starved for affection and attention, Jack met Anthony and it was love at first sight. When no owner stepped up to claim him, Jack came home with Anthony. Cindy came home to find this little black dog completely owning the red couch in her living room, and knew that this was a match made in heaven.
After a big bath and a trip to the vet for a good check-up, Jack was microchipped and neutered and is probably the most spoiled dog in Tampa. He loves going to the dog parks, where he believes himself to be the official greeter and keeper of the entrance gate. But mostly, he loves being with Anthony and Cindy, and they love being with him.
