Moving to California at the age of 17, he worked several jobs including automotive painting. After hanging up his spray guns, he went on to manage the shop. Richard returned to school and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation Biology (volunteering at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito).
Richard is a pet lover himself, currently caring for his dog Storm, and cat, Emily. He is also now caring for a Tennessee Walking Horse named Ginger. After pet sitting and walking dogs for extra money while working toward his Biology degree, Rick started The Woof Pack at the end of 2005.
